This one has gone to a good home…
My inspiration as was for my previous painting ‘YES, and be on the right side of History’ is because of my strong belief that it is 2023 and the time is now to recognize that this continent was not and never was Terra Nullius (vacant land – no one living here) and we should therefore enshrine in our constitution an Indigenous voice to parliament.
At this point in our history it is not dividing us but revealing us, who we are.
It’s Time We Walked, Framed acrylic on canvas, a large painting 70cm x 50cm. It is my latest work and hopefully will be hung in the next exhibition at the Emu Park Art Gallery. That exhibition will be open to the public the 11th October.
If you have not visited the Local Emu Park Gallery and Gift Shop then I highly recommend that you do so. Admission is FREE and the Gallery is open from Wednesday to Sunday 10am to 4pm
