CRABBING IN THE RAIN – Artist Jeff Quigley

…. SOLD …. SOLD …. SOLD …

Crabbing In The Rain … A piece I was inspired to have a crack at after seeing a painting of a rainy day in a street walk. I thought I’d have a go at a rainy days’ crabbing. It is a painting I enjoyed doing and am happy ( well nearly / never happy ) with the result. It is something different for me, a nice painting theme for a change.

Many of the locals (Emu Park, Central Queensland) will know of this crabbing experience.

Launching the pots, secret spots, lookout for crocs, checking lots.

Lookout for transgressors, dodging the Fishoes.

It is the stuff legends are made of.

Crabbing In The Rain is Framed and is acrylic on canvas, a painting 50cm x 40cm in sze. It is my latest work which has been accepted into the next exhibition at the Emu Park Art Gallery which will be opening this June the 6th.

If you have not visited the Local Emu Park Gallery and Gift Shop then I highly recommend that you do so. Admission is FREE and the Gallery is open from Wednesday to Sunday 10am to 4pm
