I Spent My Life On The Factory Floor – Latest artwork by Jeff Quigley. (finished 18 May 2026) “I Spent My Life On The Factory Floor”, Framed, acrylic on canvas, sized at 50cm x 40cm.
Two down, eight to go. I have set myself a big goal to have at least 10 new paintings, possibly 12 by the start of August this year.
I Spent My Life On The Factory Floor – how many times have we seen it. Poor buggers that work their entire life, reach the time to retire, have grand plans, sadly only to quickly perish.
Some say messiah coming got to get it right
Some say messiah coming give me back my time
All my time is lying on the factory floor
And all my time is lying on the factory floor.
(From the song I hear you calling by Bill Fay)

Nothing like a challenge and deadlines, I just love it. Gaviscon here I come.
This coming August I have been given the honour of being the Featured Artist for the (August 2026) Members Exhibition at the Emu Park Art Gallery, this piece will be part of my display
