Blues Legends. (April 2018) – By jeff Quigley Artist Emu Park
It is a big bugger, 1022cm x 90cm acrylic on canvas. I’ve called this one Blues Legends. I love the old blues and love the blues pioneers. The painting depicts the legends in the twilight of their careers

I was lucky enough to see both Muddy and BB King.

Muddy actually “laid some skin on me” (shook hands) as he was singing ‘Got My Mojo Working’. It was a long long time ago at the Hordon Pavilion.

There are a few little interesting bits in the painting.

Check out the Bar, the drinks and the Hooker.

Blues Legends was my ‘featured’ painting in the Emu Park Art Gallerys June 2018 Exhibition. I was honoured to be the Featured Artist for the Exhibition.Blues Legends was my 'featured' painting in the Emu Park Art Gallery June 2018
