Just think about it, 2 trillion galaxies (estimated) each with billions of Stars, each with planets and moons. And, out of all our universe God sent his ONLY SON to our planet earth to die for our sins – Artist Jeff Quigley.

Latest artwork by Jeff Quigley but maybe a bit of an intro beforehand. I have always respected a person who has strong beliefs and has his or her right to follow such beliefs. That is their prerogative to do so.

I, myself have my own feelings on beliefs and I class myself as a non delusionist. I like to follow what I call the Spirit of Mankind, namely just try to do the right thing and be nice to one another. We are only on this planet for a minuscule of time and apart from our family and friends no one really cares when we are gone.

Now for the painting which I have possibly given the longest title in the world.

I’ve called this one, …. wait for it: …. “Just think about it, 2 trillion galaxies (estimated) each with billions of Stars, each with planets and moons, and, out of all our universe God sent his ONLY SON to our planet earth to die for our sins.”

The work is acrylic on canvas (might even have it framed) 70cm by 70cm completed 30th May. I am miles ahead of schedule as the next Members Exhibition at the Emu Park Art Gallery is not to mid July. I hope to have some more pieces to contribute.

HEADING OFF TO THE ISLANDS – Artist Jeff Quigley.

Heading Off To The Islands is the title of this piece. I’ve always loved watching the many different birds flying around as I do the morning beach walk with the wolfpack. (My two dogs)

This particular morning (17/5/25) ‘we’ actually had a flock of Black Cockatoos fly directly over us at low altitude and yes, they were heading off into the direction of the local islands. It was so coincidental that day that I was about to finish this and they (the black cockatoos) flew over and directly out to sea. It was a magical sight for sure.

Heading Off To The Islands, Framed, acrylic on canvas, a rather large painting 580mm x 880mm.
