Another painting finished for the next Emu Park Members Exhibition … Frenzy is the title of this piece.
I nearly got a decent picture shot of this one for a change.
Frenzy, acrylic on canvas, framed and rather large at 79cm x 79cm.
I have always been enthralled at the sight of the sharks in the feeding frenzy with schools of surface fish. My 1.5 million surface fish in the painting (lol) are a bit bigger in size then those you might see in photographs. I did try smaller ones but it was too painful on my eyes so I pulled the artist licence card and made them bigger.
I also lost a friend recently who happen to be a life long mad Sharks supporter like ‘moi’ and, who was known as Frenzy. This is my small dedication to the ‘good’ bloke.

Re this ‘Frenzy’ painting, I hope to have it accepted in the late January 2026 Members Exhibition. I am aiming for one piece – let’s see how I go.
Currently there is a Fantastic Members Exhibition at the EP Gallery from Wednesday through to Sunday 10am to 4pm. It finishes on the 25th January. There is a great Gift Shop there too, stocked with great works from local artists.
